Beginning life as a manufacturer of small metal components 73 years ago, Örsjö Belysning is shaped by the region it calls home. Situated in Småland, a lush province in the south of Sweden widely known for its tradition of glass and furniture production, it is this place and its ethos of high quality manufacture that has shaped and continues to shape Örsjö Belysning to this day. They initially offered our know-how to local companies and by combining this technical expertise with the rich regional craft and design tradition of Småland, They transformed into the pioneering lighting design brand they are today. As result of their heritage they encourage a design process based on materiality, which allows the raw materials they use to come into their own.
